Horsfall Campground (occasionally incorrectly spelled as Horsefall)
Campground Description: Horsfall Campground (occasionally misspelled as Horsefall) is owned and operated by the US Forest Service. The Horsfall Recreation Area consists of the Horsfall Campground, Horsfall Beach Campground, Bluebill Campground, Spinreel Campground and the Wild Mare Horse Campground. If your hope is to visit the Horsfall Campground, get close to nature, meditate and enjoy the peace of nature, you are going to be horribly disappointed! The area is set up for off road vehicle enthusiasts to take their vehicles out and explore sand dunes that reach from the edge of the ocean to heights of almost 500 feet. If you camp here you can reasonably expect to hear off road vehicles revving their engines from dawn to dusk and later. Open all year. Reservations are possible. Complete shopping and services are available in Coos Bay.
