Elochoman Park & Marina
Campground Description: Elochoman Park and Marina is owned and operated by Wahkiakum Port District 1. Elochoman Park and Marina is located on the shores of the Columbia River. The RV camping facility offers full hookups and graveled, level sites. The marina offers a boat launch, mooring, fuel and a pump out station. Common to both are multiple restroom facilities with flush toilets and laundry facilities. Elochoman Park and Marina is set-up to be a fisherman's paradise. Between the fishing, camping, and in-town shopping, there isn't anything lacking at this RV camping and tent camping facility. Open year round. Reservations are strongly recommended during peak Salmon and Steelhead fishing seasons.
Number of Sites: 15 full hookup (sewer to be installed during 2013), 15 tent with picnic tables and 2 yurts

Directions: From the intersection of Highway 4 and Highway 101 - (north of Astoria, Oregon) drive 35.6 miles east on highway 4 to Main Street. on the south side of Highway 4. Follow Main Street south for 0.4 miles to Elochoman Park & Marina. From Interstate 5 (I-5) - take exit 39 and follow Highway 4 to the west for 26.6 miles to Main Street. Turn south onto Main Street and follow for 0.4 miles to Elochoman RV and Marina.
Fishing: Yes. Launch your boat and head out onto the Columbia River for world class Salmon and Steelhead fishing. Talk to other fisherman for tips on gear and bait
Astronomy Opportunities: Good but light polluted from the marina. The best location to set up a telescope is in the gravel RV area. The exact location for computerized telescopes is 46.20157°N, 123.6668°W
